Smallville 6x08 "Static" Episode Discussion
"Static", this episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, November 16th at 8pm.
Official CW Summary: "Clark (Tom Welling) learns a Zoner has landed in Seattle and slaughtered the entire crew of a working ship. Upon investigation, Clark comes face to face with a horrifying Phantom (guest star Batista) who sucks the bones out of people. Meanwhile, a patient (guest star Elias Toufexis) with the ability to morph into different frequencies escapes from LuthorCorps' secret experimental lab and seeks revenge on Lex by imprisoning him in another spatial period where he can see and hear everyone but no one can see him." Written by: James Morris and Shintaro Shimosawa. Directed by: James Conway TV Guide has also released the following description for the same episode... Lex disappears in front of Lana's eyes but nobody, including Lionel and Lex's security team, seems to believe her; Clark finds another refugee (Batista) from the Phantom Zone - and this one eats human bones. So for the first time this season I actually really enjoyed an episode w/o Lois/Ollie
 . Shocker, I know. For anyone who loves Lexana, you will definitely love this episode. It was chock full of them and it was great to see how concerned Lana was about Lex and how desperately Lex wanted to get back to her. The Chimmy was adorable too and it was great to see Jimmy being proactive and thinking for himself and Chloe being impressed by him. In the last Lexana scene I was thinking that Lex was taking out a thimble and then I was like "A thimble? Why are you giving Lana thimble? You're not Peter Pan, Lex." Then he opened the "thimble" and I was like "oooohhhh" .__________________

Good episode. Gross...
Lex - Whoa. Weird! Cool effects. "Everything's going to be okay." Then he disappears. Yay, Daily Planet. Yay, Chloe. I love how Clark just zipped right in front of her. How cute! Allison still looks different. I do think her hair is darker. Highlights. Ewww Awww. Chloe's such a great friend. "The 142." Catchy Jimmy!! Hehe. Jealousy!! Wow. Chloe is helping Lana so much. And Lana just flat out lies to her? Ick. Looks like red barf. Here comes Batista... 33.1 ?  "Did you hear that?""How could you not?!" Chimmy!  Oh my... Batista is strong! Jimmy is impressive. I'm looking forward to Chloe telling Clark that sometimes heroes need to be saved. Jimmy to the rescue Clark got out of that easily... What is the "The last ten minutes will leave you breathless"? Cliffhanger before the hiatus. Awww, Chloe. You rule, girl. Whoa. It was expected, but they played that out very, very well. No preview __________________

1) Lana said it, she said it! she loves Lex!!!
 2) no Lois and Ollie *teh sad* but all the Lexana scenes made up for it. 3) Chimmy was way too cute. Chloe's got herself a steady boyfriend. 4) Clark and that bone eating freak. ugh! grossness! 5) Clark a little cold with Chloe at the end. haven't seen that for awhile. 6) and did i mention that Lexana was __________________

This episode literally made me throw up. Well, it could be the fact that I've been sick all week, but I'm going to go with the episode.
It was all Lex and Lana. Not that I don't like Lex or anything, but Lana annoys the crap out of me. And I've been very bitter that Clark's becoming a supporting character in his own show. I was looking forward to his plot.. even if it did have a pro-wrestler in it. But no. Very disappointing. Lots of Chloe though. Lionel and Chloe in the same scene was nice. And Level 33.1 was interesting...ish.. but really the episode was kind of a waste. Also, I'm not really up on comic book stuff... soo... What were the oreos about? __________________

Hmm...I don't know why, but Smallville is dissappointing me this season for some reason. Last season was just awesome, but this season..I just don't know.
Liked the Chloe and JImmy scenes. They are so cutee. This show is suppose to be about superman, right? Seems like most of these episodes he is playing a side role. It is ridiculous. Lana..she just annoys me. I feel like she doesn't have any major role anymore in smallville, so they give her lame story lines. Didn't like Clark being mean to Chloe in the end. What was up with him? I guess we're gonna have a few weeks of no new episodes. |
