Its hard to take a side in this episode
 Chloe's breakdown is understandable in the moment cause the Torch is her identity - its what she has always done, always wanted to be a reporter. So for it to just flash in front of her eyes of losing it, can understand not thinking before reacting Lana wasn't at fault cause it was the Principal that did it and he was right, he saw the passion that Lana had even if it was for her to help her friend out. So Lana wasn't at fault __________________

This episode really makes me sad that Lex and Clark become enemies. They have so much chemistry as really good friends. I love their friendship.
That metropolis police officer sticking his nose where it doesnt belong.  I dont remember what episode Chloe finds out about Clark but i hope soon. Omg now john is suspected of murder!!  Lex's car was not hidden haha!! In the end Lex just wants dirt on Clark  __________________

Lex was shady at the end. It seemed like he was more interested in investigating Clark then helping him.
I loved how Clark found a way to protect his secret without going against his morals. That shows real strength especially from a 14 year old __________________

^ Yeah... I think it's one of the scenes people forget about in the earlier seasons when they say how good of a friend Lex was. lol It seemed like investigating Clark was his number 1 priority so if Clark told him the truth we can't say how Lex would've reacted in the long run...

Because what if someone goes into only watching up to season 4, but you guys discuss a lot of spoilers like...

Yeah like most retrospective podcasts (and this forum/fb group etc) it is not spoiler free. The assumption is you watch it after you've seen the entire series. We did briefly discuss it before and decided not to handcuff the conversation by being spoiler free. There are times you do want to mention parallels or how you notice this one little thing that is leading to something later. I do think we should add a warning about it though! You are right in that we mentioned several MAJOR spoilers. We may even want to consider adding spots to FF if you havent seen all the episodes yet.
We decided to change the format slightly after this episode because of the difficulty Bryan had with editing the Zoom call. We changed to a podcasting app that he has which did limit our ability to watch it all together at the same time. So now instead we are adding little 10 sec clips from the scene and just discussing so it would be easier to add those warnings. Thanks for watching! Thanks for the suggestion. It's honestly one of the most fun things I've ever done. I love it that much! I'd do it every week but Bryan is swamped and actually has to take all of Feb off for another opportunity. Which is great for him!
