The CW has released the official (spoiler-filled) description of the upcoming series finale of "Smallville". Titled "Finale", this episode is scheduled to air in the U.S. at 8.00pm on Friday, May 13th on The CW.

BE THERE AS SMALLVILLE WRAPS UP CLARK KENT’S TEN-YEAR JOURNEY IN AN EPIC TWO-HOUR SERIES FINALE — The story of Clark Kent (Tom Welling) culminates in this epic two-hour series finale as Clark takes the last step to becoming the Man of Steel. With surprise guest appearances, nods to the first few seasons of the series and Michael Rosenbaum’s return as Lex Luthor, this final episode wraps up a decade-long story following one’s man’s journey to becoming the world’s greatest superhero. Erica Durance, Allison Mack, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman, John Glover, Annette O’Toole and John Schneider also star.

JK. I'm still in denile to tell you the truth. Just seeing those pics or watching fan vids are starting to make me tear up. Hard to believe we'll be saying goodbye to our Smallville forever.

I feel the same way, all of a sudden. I was in denial until now and now that I saw the last episode discussion, it brings a tear to my eye

But it does look wonderful! A Chloe/Clark hug, the wedding pictures, Oliver... beautiful

Hey Rach and Lynn (and the previous moderators for this thread), thanks for all of your efforts in creating the new episode threads. While I wasn't a regular contributor, I did enjoy reading people's views on each episodes.

Also thanks for modding these threads and making it a fun place to discuss our love and hates of each episodes. I'm sure we all had our good laughs, rants and debates in each of those threads.

Grant, thank you so much for your kind comments. It means so much to hear you say that. I went out and got party supplies yesterday and just talking about Smallville starts my water ducts. I can't believe today is the day. While I was anxious to come home, at the same time I didn't want this day to ever come so that the inevitable could be put off.
