Thanks again for setting this thread upAlex.
My expectations for this episode are not as high as Legion but it will be an interesting episode as it looks that we find out more about Lex and the role of Lana and Tess in relation to him. I gotta laugh at the director's cut scene as the sound effect they use there is pretty funny. __________________

Same here. I'm always looking forward to watching a new SV episode but it feels like there'll way too much Lana in here.

I actually think it'll be quite interesting to find out more about Tess and her background with Lex. Using Lana in order to "open Tess' eyes" is a good idea, since she's been with Lex and knows what he's doing behind closed doors...

Almost forgot Smallville is on tomorrow.
That sneak peek and director's cut was amazing! I plan on watching this ep with no expectations whatsoever. Smallville is always fun so that's all I'm hoping for. My faith in Lana has been restored. I'm finally starting to like her again. __________________

This episode was a bit "eh" for me. I don't think it was that exciting. Though, I did enjoy seeing Lana being a bad ass and kicking Tess's ass. It's about time she learned to defend herself.
I loved the little talk Clark and Chloe had about Lois though. The ending was not my favorite. Nope. __________________

The episode wasn't one of those razzle-dazzle episodes but for season 8 it did work.
Really loved how Clark went undercover as a cop. He looked good with that shield. He'll look even better in his own shield . When he said to Danny, "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you I was a reporter", I just thought that was so cool because of future reference when Clark won't be able to tell people he's a reporter when it comes to being Superman. Liked Clark's alias- Jo Fordman. I don't know if that was just a random name but I couldn't help but think that Clark used the name his father had used when he had come to earth and then a small tribute to Whitney. That little kid was cool- dressing up as the red/blue blurr and the as "Robin Hood". Having the Justice team was great- Ollie, Clark, and Jon. The talk Clark and Chloe had about Lois was perfect! So glad Chloe is noticing how obvious it is. And how Chloe kind of threatened Clark by not slamming the door in her cousin's face. It's nice to know Chloe doesn't have anything against the Lois & Clark ship It was so great to see that guy back- the one who played Danny. He came out back in season 1 with that firestarter football coach. And I thought it was so cool that he was playing a cop since he does that other show with Amy Jo Johnson (can't remember the name). Lex is one true evil master mind! For him to place a transmitter so Tess could be his eyes and ears was just ingenious. I'm rating this episode a 7+. My lowest rating for the show but it's better than 5. __________________

Lex is such a perv. If he had those cameras in Tess' eyes or whatever, that means he was watching her and Ollie have sex! he got a front row seat of ollie scratching her itch! :o
and in Tess' speech at the end in the mirror, i thought she was gonna do something big like gouge her eyes out so he wouldn't spy in her. thankfully she didn't. __________________

Jedi: I hadn't even considered that! All though it's not really all that surprising is it? Give that Lex did have camera's in Lana's room when she was living at his house.
I was half expecting Tess to kill herself but then I thought, she's too good of a character, they can't kill her off. __________________

Aside from the last scene I really liked this episode. It was great to see Martian Manhunter again and the opening scene was awesome with him taking down the bad guy. I winced when he got shot though and the look on Clark's face when he saw MM come in was so sad. Another thing I really liked was seeing JH again and how he cut off Clark from going into one of his guilt fests. Throughout the majority of the episode I liked seeing Clark being proactive as a cop and going undercover to find out who was responsible for the attempted murder of MM. He really used his wits and was very heroic and I appreciate that his character is still progressing. I loved his line when he got shot at the end about the bulletproof vest.
I thought the Tess/Lana scene were also pretty interesting and how creepy is it that Lex had a camera put in her optic nerve? That would mean he saw the whole thing when she was with Ollie in Committed. EW. Guess this means that Tess' loyalty to Lex is over and I really liked the decision they made to have Tess talk to Lex in the mirror. Finally, I really loved the Chloe and Clark scene and how Chloe is looking out for her cousin. I like that they're not just sweeping everything that happened between Lois and Clark under the rug and that Clark at least acknowledged that things are changing between him and Lois, but he's confused right now and doesn't quite know what to do with his changing feelings. So yeah like I said, overall I really liked this episode . __________________

This wasn't my favorite episode
I really liked the story with the Martian Manhunter and the cops. It brought a new light to this whole "hero" gig. I'm not sure what I think of the "new" Oliver. For one, like Rachel said, he did cut off Clark's guilt trip, but he, the founder of the Justice League is doing solo-stunts? That makes no sense to me. Especially since he even told Clark they'd be better at going at it solo... That has nothing to do with the Oliver that wanted Clark to be a member of the JLA. I loved the scenes between Lana and Tess. I find it creepy that Lex had a transmitter put on Tess' optical nerve, but it is very much like him. At first I thought she was going to kill herself when she put that blinking thing into her necklace (didn't it look a little bit like the thingy for a bomb?), but this one I love even more. Especially that she wants to merge with Oliver (I think it's actually Luthercorp she wants to merge, since that would be the ultimate kick into Lex' shins __________________

Lynn, I figured that Ollie thought it was best for him and Clark to go solo since they've been butting heads for most of the season and it would be easier that way.
And yeah I was starting to think that Tess was either going to commit suicide or gouge out her eye, but then she used that transmitter thing and it cut off the signal. Did Lana give that to her or something b/c I don't remember where she got that from. __________________

Rachel you're right, but I found it weird that he wouldn't even suggest they talk to each other about what they were planning...
