How crazy that it took new showrunners to give us the continuation.

I'll always say the best thing that happened to Smallville was getting new showrunners for season 8... since season 7 was considered the worst season of the series and so many fans started losing interest because of a lot of the same nonsense with no actual growth.

I feel the new showrunners finally moved the story along.

I don't remember when I started losing some interest. I think season 6.

That's when many sort of started losing interest. I think many didn't care for the Lex/Lana/Clark triangle and than season 7 a lot just jumped off the ship. lol

I quit around then for a while. Then just finished to finish the series. So perhaps why I remember the early seasons better.

I watched them just once and who knows how well I paid attention to it, but I did watch all the episodes in theory.

No, I have all the seasons on DVD and did watch them once through once I got the DVD.

I just didn't watch the later seasons live. And have seen the earlier episodes multiple times.

I know I had to play catch up on later seasons, but watched them when the DVD came out so when season 10 came out on DVD is when I started watching S10. I think. I don't remember for sure actually, haha.

Okay. lol We'll we will be doing some catch up with some selective episodes per week so that's good.
