I think it's more shocking that Lionel became more good than Lex becoming evil since with Lex it was expected.

With Lionel, him turning good was unexpected. lol

I can't remember what season I was watching when I decided to check out the Superman movies with Chris Reeves.

It wasn't easy to get through them because it looked so dated, but I went into Smallville knowing nothing about Superman. It was fun to go in blinded though; no expectations. I guess that's why I hated that Lex turned evil. All I know pretty much was Smallville, so it crushed me.

When did Lex turn evil? Other versions of Lex are mostly of him as an older man, haha.

Lex slowly started turning evil in season 4 but it was the slow steps. However, Lex getting with Lana turned him even more evil. Because it seemed he became about getting everything that Clark had that he couldn't had.

Clark ending his friendship with Lex turned him down a darker pasts though. Season 5!

Season 6, he was more evil than good. Season 7, was sort of the end for his good even though he had some moments of being good.

Comics, he's usually always evil. lol We rarely see the development. lol He's just evil.

Lex just always look for ways to defeat Superman.

^ Yeah, I am safe in saying that Smallville was the first version to have Lex start off good... and remember Clark/Lex NEVER met until Clark became Superman.

Clark and Lex starting out as BFF's was only for Smallville but that never happened. lol

Superman and Lex usually start off as enemies because of Lex of course.

Smallville had Clark meet to of the most important people in his life early in Lex and Lois.

Lois, he meets at the Daily Planet (occasionally) and Lex when he becomes Superman and Lex wants to just tear him down.

The writers sort of stuck with the mythologies with Clark/Lex in the series finale.....................................
