Jonathan has really been laid back in Season 4. A bit strange but I like it. lol

Do you think the reason for that is that he knows what's going to happen to him? Or the fact that he just got out of the hospital, he keeps saying he just wants to spend time with Martha and Clark.

Think a little of both think with everything that Jor-El has put him though related to the hospital and everything - feel that he may not know that his death is coming, think he just wants to spend time with his family

Because he knows what's going to happen to him.
I think he realized there is no reason of being stressed with everyone's decisions and he just wants his family close.
