Smallville 8x04 "Instinct" Episode Discussion
The 4th episode of "Smallville" Season 8 airs in the U.S. on Thursday, October 9th, 2008 at 8.00pm. Titled "Instinct", here's the official (spoiler filled) description from The CW...
DC COMICS CHARACTER MAXIMA SETS HER SIGHTS ON CLARK - Tess (Cassidy Freeman) and her team perform tests on Clark's (Tom Welling) crystal that she had retrieved from the arctic, causing it to send a beam of light into the universe. This triggers the arrival of Maxima (guest star Charlotte Sullivan), a queen from the planet Almerac, who is searching for her soulmate, who she believes sent the signal. Unfortunately, Maxima's power is too great for mortal men and her kiss kills them. The seductive Maxima arrives in Metropolis and begins her search, starting with Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore). Allison Mack and Erica Durance also star. Directed by James Conway Written by Turi Meyer and Al Septien Meanwhile, TV Guide has the following description for this same episode... Maxima (Charlotte Sullivan), a queen from planet Almerac, arrives on Earth after being accidentally summoned by Tess. this season has been soo amazing so far. I think it became really intense really quick and I love the missing people...wonder what happened to Lex, I just can't wait for this episode. I fall more and more in love with the show every season. I'm totally going to be depressed when it's over. I would not mind a smallville soap opera that lasts for 10 years. LOL.

wow...they could not be beating us over the head with the Clois stuff..i still don't see when they developed feelings for each other... glad they seem to be resolving the chlark issue... filler....though i loved tess/clark and tess/chloe |
