He regressed like 90% to me so I just pretend her arc never happened and it doesn't matter how much I try to watch it, I'll always hate it the same.

I kind of felt that I explained it way too many times on many threads why I felt he regressed, do you want me to find and repost those post?
 I am even tired of repeating it. I will repeat one thing, Clark HIMSELF said that he became better when Lana left! So that just confirmed what I already knew. |

Also watching it live was just stressful. I felt Lana's arc took away from everything I watched. I really started falling out of love with Smallville again during her arc.  |

Well yes he noted that that he got off the farm and started helping people etc. To which Chloe responded, or maybe you just grew up and figured out what you wanted to do with your life (I think truth lies in the middle)
But not seeing how Lana's return in season 8 regressed him in anyway to what he was prior to 8x01. He was still helping people, still doing journalism..... |
