I always compared them to Oliver/Sara.... a tiny bit in terms of saying that Sara is the only one who know Oliver on the Island and because of that time in the Island, it made Sara a stronger person.

Tess is the only one on Smallville who's known Oliver since the Island and because of that time, that made them both stronger.

Although with Oliver/Sara, the history is so much more and I'm more of a fan of them but I'd say Tess is Sara as Chloe's is to Felicity. lol If that makes any sense. lol

Tess was more upset with Oliver but it was a funny scene. lol
Well it seemed everyone was shocked about Clark besides Lois and Tess.
