I truly loved the episode. Especially the Clois scenes and the scenes with the team. I just didn't won't Hawkman to die but I'm so happy that he saved Lois.

I loved this episode, I really think it's my favorite from the season. It was great from start to ending. I loved the ending all the Heroes in the end.

I thought the episode was alright. I liked that Clark was acting more like the leader. I was real sad about Hawkman dying. However other than that I thought the episode was just alright.

This episode blew me away
Here is my review, I've broken it up by scene rather than character like I normally do. Clark & Lois Proposal Scene: Definately not one of your conventional proposals but with Lois around is there ever gonna be one. It was abosolutely a perfect moment. They talked business then about them and I loved how Clark said there was a situation that needed saving as his excuse to save what was left of their evening. The phone call at their booth, the white roses, Lois' expression- everything about it was beautiful. Lois & Chloe Flashback: Chloe really hasn't been high on my radar, rarely has she been so I hadn't missed her all that much. It was nice though to see her again, even if in that flashback. And I loved the expression on her face when Lois asked why it didn't work between Clark and Lana. That necklace she gave Lois as something borrowed was a nice touch. Oh and I loved the words on her letter. Lois & Cat: Ugh as fun as Cat is she can be so annoying but I guess it adds a little more humor. I loved how she thought because Lois was engaged that meant she was expecting, guess we all can sort of figure out that's why Cat got engaged- she got knocked up and then got married. Tess & Lois: This scene was great. Tess was so on the ball acting the way she usually does but then I noticed the lie- when she said she was uploading the Watchtower retina scan she looked to the right. Easy indication of lying! Plus I saw that story coming from a mile away. I kind of figured it would be Tess to be the one saying that something was going on at Watchtower and she needed Lois and Clark there. The Engagement Party: Such an endearing moment. I loved not just Lois & Clark but the team celebrating because as we all know in life the good times can't last forever. It was perfect. And of course the look of love in Lois & Clark's eyes was beautiful. Citizen Attack: That was so intense. Wasn't expecting it at all. I feel bad for our superheroes. They're just trying to do what it is they've always done and the people turn on them. What was stupid was that the lady that was being attacked didn't even come forward and protect Ollie. Had it not been for him something worse could've happened. Where are the citizens who stand up for our heroes? Are they corrupted by hate that much. Clois at Kent House: Another bittersweet moment between the two before their world comes crashing down. Loved their talk and it was so sweet seeing them bringing in all those presents. I especially loved how Lois started to question which name she'd go by. It's times like these, during their talks, when I see how good of a partner Lois is for Clark. She's willing to do anything just to stand by him even if that means putting their relationship behind their responsibilities as superhero and reporter. It was nice of Lois to get Clark's jacket for him. JLA at Watchtower: This was such a sad scene. It kind of reminded me back in season 8 when their covers were blown and they had to go underground. They rose from the ashes once, they'll do it again but to see Clark officially shut down Watchtower was heartbreaking. Slade's Office Raid: I love when we get to see the boys club. They always have the fun stuff especially when Ollie is involved. When Carter said that they couldn't keep Slade in a cage my first thought was, Phantom Zone and sure enough Clark had the same idea! Lois in Tess' Office: LOL when Lois found Tess' secret closet door and Lois said she needed to get the name of who customized it I immediately thought, "Oh yeah this way there can be one at the Kent farm for Clark's superhero clothes". Hawkman/Slade Battle: This was an excellent fight but the outcome was not what I was expecting. It brought tears in my eyes when Hawkman got stabbed. And then to see him fall with fire all over him was painful. Slade/Clark Talk: Dude just with words alone it was such a powerful scene. And then for Clark to finish his mission by sending Slade to the Phantom Zone was just icing on the cake. I so badly want to see Slade in the zone. I wonder how he'll survive and if he is still under Darkseid's protection. If not he won't live long enough in the PZ. Carter, Clark & Lois: This scene had me crying. I can't believe Carter is actually gone. It totally sucks. One more show of the fact that Smallville is truly coming to an end. It's hard to stand. Just typing this part alone is making my eyes all teary. I don't think I've ever been this emotional over losing a show before. That's a first. To see Carter hold out long enough for Clark to arrive was great. He has always carried words of wisdom and even in death he shared those. I just hope that wherever he is he is finally with Shayir and that they've found each other and loved again. The Funeral: We have had many funerals on this show- Whitney's father, Johnathan Kent, Lionel Luthor, Jimmy Olsen, Jor-El, and now Hawkman. I don't know which funeral has been the hardest to watch. This one certainly is among the top 3 though. To see the JLA conduct their own funeral like that was hard. It definately reminded me of the Death of Superman when the JLA mourned Clark's loss but this time it was sad because the world couldn't mourn with them because of the fact that they're "wanted terrorists." And despite the circumstances I did like seeing Impulse, Cyborg, Aquaman, Martain Manhunter, and Zatanna (even if it wasn't the 'real actors'). At least Carter is with Shayir now so there's some comfort in that but no comfort to those left behind I'm sure. It was sad seeing them all grieve together and to see Black Canary holding onto Stargirl. Final Thoughts: I have no words for this episode. I'm certainly giving it the 10+ it deserves, that's for sure. I do so badly want to know what that pyramid thing was that knocked everyone out. You can be certain I'll be looking for spoilers on it. And the music, especially at Carter's funeral- loved it. Overall I am pleased with this season. It's been my favorite of them all. We can only hope for more great stuff especially where the VRA is concerned. It's clear they are not going away even if their top dog is off in some distant void. Bring on part 2 of season 10! BTW, does anyone know the name of the song that was played at Hawkman's funeral? __________________

The episode was awesome yesterday.
I really loved the Clois proposal. And of course I am so glad they put Chloe in this episode even though it was from the past. Major tearage with the Hawk man death. That totally upset me and of course the end of the funeral confused me too. I have no idea what that flash of light thing was all about and everyone passing out. __________________

This was a great episode. I am going to miss Hawkman. Michael Shanks was already one of my fav actors and he did a great job as Carter. The Ollie/Carter scenes were awesome too.
Of course the Clois stuff was amazing. I am very happy with the proposal; and very happy with the wardrobe department! Love how Clark and Lois were dressed in the proposal scene. One of my fav moments was the funeral scene. The music was perfection and having Clark reach for Lois's hand was just such a nice touch, because it was obviously a call back to "Reckoning." __________________

The proposal and the funeral were beautiful I was swooning!! I love the roses and in their phone booth, how fitting! I like the mention of him bringing her up to the top of the Planet globe. I would have liked to see more about him taking her around the world.... He could literally take her anywhere in a Flash. They could have dinner in a French crountryside... and I never got why "commuting" would be an issue for him..but I digress __________________
