On Chloe and Ollie.. I'm kinda on the fence with that one. My favoured ship will always, always be Clark/Chloe and no other can compete, but there's something about their scenes.... But then he has been a bit of jerk too, so

I'd have to decide if and when it happened whether I liked it I guess.

AM still might go to ComiCon though, right?

I think there is still others to be confirmed.

She's filming a movie atm, and it is July 6th or 9th that they start filming.

I hope she does go.

oh, we're talking chloe ships?
well, i always liked chlollie as friends/partners and can understand why someone would ship them but i don't, especially not after the way oliver treated chloe in season 8. also, i agree with kyls there definitely is something about their scenes together that i definitely like and find interesting.
loved chloe and davis together, especially how davis treated chloe.

(i'm in denial of the last scene they had together)

but my other favourite chloe ship, besides chlark of course, is a crossover.

i'm a big chlean fan.

Hm, I always liked the idea of Chloe with Oliver. But I've also always liked the idea of Chloe as Watchtower and underground reporter, so I think that kind of explained itself

I don't ship her with Clark too much anymore, but I still like them in fics.

Undercover reporter would be really cool, but I think that reporting might be something they've dropped totally now for Chloe

yeah, i think so, too. i think that they even said in an earlier season that they wanted to limit chloe to the sidekick role, job wise, of course they didn't use the word limit but that is the gist of it. and i don't like it.

To be honest that was one thing I was disappointed with Allison for. In the season 7 companion Allison and a female writer were making comments about Chloe's journalism career not being as important as helping out the hero Clark, she will become a full-time sidekick, and I was all excuse me is it women saying this

It makes me sad because Allison was once really into keeping Chloe smart and ambitious as an example to young women, and now it's like Chloe has lost all of her focus and passion

If Clark will one day save the world, and still have a day job as reporter, then Chloe could surely do the same for her career and helping out Clark. She managed it during season 5

yeah, and it is not like she would be the first woman managing two jobs at the same time, either. and sure helping clark and other heroes is important but so is telling the world the truth about important stuff.
yeah, but in regards to chloe and her job and her relationships, allison lost me somewhere along the way, the only way i could understand this is if that was her way of trying to make her peace with what others decided would be best for chloe or how they handled certain storylines...

i guess that i could live more with her sidekick-role if we would see her investigating stuff as part of that role and not just sitting infront of a computer all the time trying to get information that way.

No I know what you mean, I wondered if Allison ever felt awkward about the Chlois theory as I think that she and Erica get on pretty well, so that might be part of why she was so into the meteour freak storyline and the counselling storyline so that they could get Chloe to start doing something different

I dunno though, she seemed really into Chimmy so maybe those were storylines she would have always wanted anyway as a change from reporting Chloe...

yeah, i think that that is another major point that allison regards her character not just as a fan of the character but also as an actress wanting to play different sides of a character.

she also said that she liked it that chloe was shown a bit softer around lois and i always got the feeling that a main reason why she liked chimmy so much is that she was sick of chloe pining after clark with no pay off.

I've read that Allison wasn't too into the theory because she wanted Chloe to stay Chloe.. the character she brought to life. I can understand that, but I think people who wanted Chloe to become Lois already thought she was in everything but the name.

I'm still disappointed that they've had Chloe move away from journalism. All for the sake of mythos.

I enjoyed scenes at the Daily Planet much more when Chloe was working there and a part of that world.

Reminded of Chloe's line from Season 5, "Clark, I'm a writer.", I hope she does get back to writing in some capacity. Like the book she wrote in Lexmas.

The character she created in season 1 has already changed a lot though

I mean if you watch a season 1 episode and then a season 8 episode it's a really huge difference

The show was the one protraying journalism as being in her blood and a part of who she is, so I definitely feel it's a cheat to drop that totally in order to serve another character better

that quote is the main reason why i can't get why she would let go so easily of her dream job at the dp as a reporter because she is a writer, by her own words. that is what used to define her whole character being curious and always after the truth and writing about the stuff she found out.

but i guess that allison did realise what a big part journalism played in chloe's life when she said in an interview that chloe seemed a bit lost ever since she got fired from the dp. (imho, that already started when she found out that she was meteor infected and only got worse when she got fired)
