I finally watched Alice & Huck, and I kind of giggled the entire time because this entire film has "Allison" written all over it. It's crazy but it feels so much like her, like her blog posts. I really enjoyed it

I totally agree with you. I had the same feeling when I watched it. It's probably because she worked with good friends on this production who inspire her anyway and who get inspired by her either. And you can feel that atmosphere in the movie and that's what makes it so authentic.

Yeah, I agree, it's very artsy and unconventional. Even the message seemed a bit like something Allison would say, you know, how two people are meant to be, but they mess it up time and time again, until in the last scene, they finally find each other and even though their encounter doesn't make sense, they know they kind of belong together

It really was a great movie. Totally agree Lynn, it was definitely very "Allison". Very creatively done! I love movies that are done this way.
But I was kinda confused by the story. I remember an interview where Allison said it was basically about these 2 people that get all these chances to re-meet each other for the first time. Does she mean that each time they meet each other, they don't know each other and it's just all these different scenarios and ways they could have met? __________________

I saw it as all the meetings did happen in the same timeline, but it was just those random encounters in life that you don't really remember until the time where they did get it right

I kind of saw it as different universes and they meet in each one but screw it up in all except the one
