who is the hpb?
ah finally...a place wher i can put my FA to use ...its pretty self explanitory and i was quite shocked when i researched this.
I went on the fact that JK has used anagrams before to get alternate names for another character, which i refrence : "Hidden Meanings" Tom Marvalo Riddle I am Lord Voldemort Albus Dumbledore Also be 'er mublud. I find it too coincidental that his name spells that out. what do you guys think __________________

I don't think so. For one thing, if she were going to make his name an anagram, she'd have the correct spelling in it. Also, she's told us where the name "Dumbledore" came from. And as far as we know, Dumbledore isn't a prince.
And for the record, I'm not buying the Severus Snape = Perseus Evans theory, either. __________________

Personally I think it's someone that hasn't been introduced in the series yet. And even though JK put that little excerpt from HBP on her site. I think that's mis-direction. From that description she makes it sound like Godric Gryffindor. But I don't think she would give away the identity that easily. __________________

Singergirl, this question belongs in the HP Theories, Speculation and Rumors thread so I'm closing this thread.
If you have any questions about this, please PM me. __________________
