And the fact that he watched her go made me melt, too. I agree about Hagrid. I was trying so hard to like him, but it's just not happening. The chapter that revolves around him felt eternal. And I'm not sure what it is about Ginny I don't like. I think I just don't want her with Harry. Because they're just not exciting to me. I'm so for Luna being the girl for Harry, there is no room for anyone else, lol. (I s'pose it wouldn't be so bad if Ginny and Harry ended up together. | Ok so I just read this REALLY interesting theory on Luna on another forum...so this one clever person has this idea that maybe Luna is a master of legilimency and Occlumency...and that she will become sort of a "spiritual" mentor for Harry, since he is beginnig to lose faith or whatnot in Dumbledore and that she could possibly become the teacher of them to him. She points out a passage on the train where she keeps contact with Harry the whole time, as she does with lots of others,(as well as she seems not to blink as much as normal humans) and that legilimency needs direct eye contact for it to work...and Occlumency requires major emotional control...which Luna definitely has..noone seems to know what she is thinking until she chooses to tell them.... sounds verrry interesting..I might have to reread a little to remember brush up on exactly what those two are (though I am pretty sure I remember..was legilimency about getting into people's minds, and occlumency blocking people from getting into yours?? ) all about....but if this theory is true it would explain alot of things about her odd behavior...plus it would be a pretty cool way for the two of them to spend "quality" time together...and by "quality" , I mean mad endless snogging...hehehe... anyways let me know what you guys think about this...I think it;s the best, most probable thoery out there on her character..it would tie in rather nicely, especially how since she appeared "out of nowhere" in book 5 just when Harry had to learn these 2 disciplines (which by the way he couldn't)....it would give her a greater purpose, other than just being future girl friend material...which in itself isn't completely bad =b hehehe.....alrighty...lata! __________________ There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. | hey Steph!  that's a pretty interesting theory, but i don't know if i believe it. unless Luna is some sort of natural at it, Occluemcy and Legilimency are pretty tough skills to master, and Luna was only in her 4th year. how would she learn it? nevertheless, it is interesting. Quote:

| Hi guys My last post was probably 4 threads ago, but since my vacations are about to start, I'll be posting here more often. Not to mention that I just re-read OotP and that does wonders for my H/L addiction. I'm more shipper than ever  I like that theory Stephanie, if Luna actually is a master of occlumency, it is probably a natural gift. I read a story where she was great at wandless magic and she kinda teaches Harry how to do it. I'm reading one right now where Luna can see through invisibility cloaks, it's quite funny.
