I didn't forget, Amy, I did make fun of a bunch of H/Hr-ers (and I still do) but as time went by I learned to love and respect the H/Hr ship - something I can't say about H/G. I never had problems with the H/G shippers on this board, so you shouldn't be taking my words as an offense to you guys. I just happen to dislike most of the H/G shippers I know from other places.

It's the same with Harry/Luna and Ron/Hermione for me. I can at least say I respect those ships

As for shippers...hell, I think even I've made fun of certain H/Hr-ers at some point and I'm an Auror

There are insane shippers in every ship

Aurors are delusional, Visionaries are insane, it's all good

I have to say though, Aurors and Visionaries are my favorite shippers. I don't usually get along with Sidekicks even though I sorta like the ship

For some reason, I thought Evanna was really short, but seeing her next to Dan... well, it gives you another impression. And oh boy, they look great together

Ah well Ana I remember YOU were the first one to come to our thread and congratulate us and H/G on our canon pairing in HBP. I remember feeling so grateful that you took the time out to do that. It made me feel that you really DID respect the ship... at the time.

I'm not taking offense here I'm just expressing my feelings. And I just like to once again state that even if there ARE other places with people who offend you to keep the negative comments towards them off this board because I can't tell you how many times I've gotten comments from posters who say they feel safe here and don't feel the aggression from other shipping threads. That's one of the things both Sam and I take pride in. It's what makes this board so unique and special. So lets keep it that way.

If I did congratulate you it's because your ship became canon and I assumed you'd be all excited about it - that doesn't mean that I like H/G or that I'm happy with it. I simply took the time to write that because it was what I wanted to. I respect the shippers.

And you do have an interesting perception of what's offensive or not. You say that many people feel safe to post here, while I know many people who don't feel that way. Because it always feels like we're being censored, it always feels like we can't even JOKE about stupid and silly things without getting a warning. But as you said, the board is unique and special. At least for the people who can say what they really want.

It wasn't a warning Ana. Just a polite comment that's all. Please don't feel as if you are being censored because you're not. You are free to express yourself as we've always maintained. Our main concern is to keep a peaceful board that's all and we're watchful of comments that has the potential to be taken negative by other posters.

And all the same, We respect your ship, wholeheartedly, even if you don't ours.
