| Elite Fan  | Wow, everyone's posting at the same time again!  Yeah Sam, I didn't really like it. But then again, I've only read a few pages and from what I read, I thought very vague. It's a lot of "make-up" to disguise a simple story. But I do want to read "Angels & Demons" 'cause everyone I know who read it says it's much better than The Da Vinci Code. I'm definitely not looking forward the movie---even though I like Audrey Tautou, I don't think she's a very good actress. She works as Amelie, but I didn't enjoy any of her other performances. As for Tom Hanks--I shall restrain from saying what I really think about that dude. I like to believe that Luna would love The Da Vince Code, but Harry would seriously hate it. | I think Harry would really enjoy all of the riddles in the book, and Luna would be searching for other conspiracy theories. not in a paranoid way, but in a cute, Luna-ish way. She would just go on and on. I think Harry would find it quite amusing. | |||

| Ok let me say..I was dissapointed to say the least in the casting for the film..Tom Hanks does not fir my mental image of Langdon at all...maybe Harrison Ford, or someone older , more grizzled. I like Hanks..but he is good in stuff like Forrest Gump....and Audrey..I liked Amelie..but I wish they would of cast Sophie Marceau...she is so pretty and was so good in Braveheart,...she was my mental picture of the character... but as far as the book...you have to get through the first chapter to really get into the book...then you cant put it down. I can picture him reading Schopenhauer, Nietzsche and so on. Well, my ideal Harry does  ETA: Jess, I think the critics/media say too much about a guy who does too little.
