Exactly! She is so much of an individual and she doesn't care if the majority may not understand her or approve her thoughts and actions. That's one of the reasons I thought she is good for Harry: she can make him a bit more like her, a bit more relaxed about what other people may think of him so he can just enjoy being himself. I felt like Harry always had this problem, he couldn't acccept himself the way he was, but Luna showed him that you don't have to look back on everyone, you should just be yourself and not be ashamed of it

I think what Harry couldn't accept is the fact that his parents died that way, they were good people. For me, it's not really about Harry not accepting himself. It was more of he was alone, he needed someone to talk to other than his best friends. He needed someone who doesn't know him so much as Ron & Hermione and Luna was that person for him then and that's what I liked. She came at a time when Harry needed someone the most who is not necessarily his friend but an acquanitance (at first).

 That's how it felt for me too. Luna appeared just in time in his life. As someone who wasn't his pall for years, someone who doesn't know everything about him, but someone who can understand him in a way his friends cannot (espacially when it comes to being misunderstood and judged by everyone and to parents' death). That is why his relationship with Luna will always be something really unique and special, something different from all his other relationships.__________________
