Love that art and the fact that Luna would totally believe him is one of many, many reasons why I love these two together At some points even Harry's closest friends questioned his sanity. Not because they didn't love him but because they couldn't understand how different his life and his experience was from theirs. But Luna didn't judge people just based on her personal experience or her own vision of the world - she was open minded enough to be able to understand their uniqueness and she definitely understood Harry in that way. She knew he is not the lying type and she could feel he was telling the truth even when others would doubt him. She knew and felt that he was different but was judged for that and she could relate to that because she ended up in the same situation too often in her life.

Well said. The things that happened to him were things that just didn't happen to most people so it was much harder for him to find someone who could relate to and understand him. Even try as they might, it does take a certain kind of person to be able to really handle Harry. But with Luna it was like she was made for him

Exactly To understand a person like Harry and not only what he had been through but how he was feeling about it and to handle his complecated emotional condition required another person having a special kind of mind and willingess to look deeper into Harry's problems without judging him or being angry at him for his mood changes while not putting up with his self-pitying moments. And Luna was that kind of person. She was willing and read to offer her hand to him anytime he needed, she never judged him and knew he was never meant to be rude or mean but at the same time she never put up with his rudeness either, instead she knew how to get to the reason of the problem and calm him down, make him feel better even when he was absolutely miserable. And Luna is definitely the only person I could ever see being right for Harry in all of those terms. And I didn't even think they should have been together romantically at the point of the series (like we discussed before, the best time for it would have been after the war when Harry wouldn't have to deal with so much and at the same time would need someone who could support him and handle his pain over all the loss and grief he was feeling).

Very well said, Mary. Luna is indeed the perfect fit for Harry because she's carefree and non-judgmental. Harry would definitely enjoy being with someone like that.
