Hello my fellow Potter maniacs

We have received a couple of wishes for new shipper threads. You know we want to keep the shipper threads limited. But Ben and I (and hopefully Sadé - I hope you're doing better - ) agree that you can have 2 (two) new shipper threads.

However, we want this to be fair. I know there are a lot of ideas for new shipper threads. So there is going to be a poll - again

These are the rules for the poll

You can submit suggestions for new shipper threads until next Sunday. That's Sunday, 24th October. Once a ship as been suggested, you don't have to suggest it again - Oh... and you don't have to suggest ships, that already have threads. We're not voting threads off the board. We're just adding two

Starting Monday, 25th October you can vote for your favorite ships. You can vote for a maximum of three different ships. The poll is going to be open for two weeks. The voting will end Sunday, 7th November.

The two ships that get the most votes will have new threads.

Hi everyone! Since it is not possible to create a poll that gives you no more than 3 votes, I have decided to do this voting as I had originally inteded: Starting from today, you have 2 weeks - until November 9th - to post your votes in this thread.

You can vote for three different pairings. And Please chose from the pairings that I posted below. And please chose wisely, as it is very hard to keep up with the votes if everyone keeps changing their votes every other day.
If you absolutely have to change your votes, please do so by editing the post where you originally voted. That way it's easier for me to keep track of who voted for which pairings

Please note that only those votes will be counted that were posted AFTER October 25th.So if you voted before that day, you'll have to vote again.

As fetch said, it's useless to vote. At least in my case. I'd be surprised if many people voted the same. Still, casting my vote. I'd love to even have a thread devoted to femmeslash. That would be better than a new 'shipper thread. Eh, will stick to the UC thread.

If you're unsure if there is a shipper thread in existence for a particular pairing, just check our Portkey. Under "Relationship threads" you can find all pairings that have their own threads.

And I wouldn't say suggesting one or the other ship is useless because no one will vote for them. You never know.

Yeah, but it would be cool if it was split up. Maybe into same-sex pairings and het pairings? Or something/.

No, we're not going to split it up. Not because I am mean or lazy (and neither is any of the other mods ), but because I got some exciting news:

I asked Jerry, one of this administrators of Fan Forum, if it was possible to create a real poll for this voting like they did for the New Forums. And guess what? We're getting a real poll!!!

Hey everyone

The votes are not being counted yet. Right now you can just suggest new pairings.
Once the voting has started, no new pairings will be added.

We'll have to see if it's possible for a voter to have 3 votes in one poll. If it's not, we might have to do it the way I originally intended. That means you post your 3 votes here and in the end I sit down and count.
