Welcome to the brand new reconfigured Trio thread. (formerly the ASCOP thread) Dedicated to the most solid friendship in the Harry Potter universe - the Trio of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. This place to be a safe posting ground for those who want to talk about the dynamics of our enigmatic trio, and all their adventures, past, present, or future.

A little background of ASCOP for everyone:

ASCOP (Auror Sidekick Committee of Peace) was formed after the 'shipper wars of 2002 and is something that the elderly posters would all rather forget happened. Today we have realised that Aurors and Sidekicks can exist together in harmony.

The RULES:

R-E-S-P-E-C-T is the name of the game.
There will absolutely be NO SHIP, CHARACTER or J.K.R. BASHING.
Anyone inciting an argument of any kind that is not considered neccessary will be dealt with accordingly.
A good sense of humor is required. SERIOUSLY. Humor yourself, I don't care. If you can't take a joke, then you shouldn't be here.
Remember that the rules are subject to change. The mods will definitely be keeping watch all the time.

Keep in mind, the Trio Thread serves as a playground for everyone regardless of your shipping preferances, and is not as a BATTLEGROUND. There will be no ship wars of any kind, AT ALL, because once that starts, this thread will be closed. Permanently. We wouldn't want that to happen, now, would we?

Reasons why we love the Trio
1. Because it is one triangle where all sides are equal.
2. They are the Hero, the Brain and the Heart
3. They are stronger together than they are apart
4. Because 3 is a magic number
5. Because they're friendship, family and love
6. Because "Of Course" Harry will tell Ron and Hermione everything!
7. Ron and Harry don't need to read Hogwarts: A History, because Hermione just happens to be the only one who has.
8. Because she might lecture them a lot, but she always ends up helping them with their homework
9. Because it only took a 12 foot troll for them to realize what great friends they could be
10. Because when two of them are fighting, somehow something is missing.
11. Because if there were two that Harry could take from DA, it's Ron and Hermione
12. Because they help each other, even when they're petrified
13. Because if not for the trio, who solves the mysteries?
14. Because threesomes are fun!
15. Because JKR is going to miss the day where she can't write Harry, Ron and Hermione in the same sentence anymore.
16. Because WB always makes a promo poster of the three of them.
17. Because triangles aren't always a bad shape.
18. Because if not for the Trio, who will be around to save the day?
19. Because an adventure isn't the same if one of them isn't there
20. Because they are like JKR's own children
21. Because smart, brave and loyal are the perfect combination
22. Because who needs blonde when you've got black, brown and red
23. Because Harry and Ron did not need to hug, Hermione did it for them

Thanks for starting this Trio thread! I really think the shipping wars have gotten to be so ugly that I'm quite sick of it. We truly need this place to just appreciate H/R/Hr's beautiful friendship.
