Definitely! Rupert, Dan, and Emma were certainly talented and that showed when they were ten/eleven/twelve. We got to see them grow up before our eyes, and they've become individuals in their own rights who are now making a name for themselves. Whether or not they're still in the spotlight (like Emma, as opposed to Rupert) they're still remembered for being Ron, Harry, and Hermione. That's what set the ball rolling for them. They put so much into the movies and it was a huge sacrifice for them, because they gave up a proper adolescence to do the franchise. That's definitely a brave move on their part, and I don't think a lot of children could do what they did for eleven years.
What did Tom do before Harry Potter? |

They were thrust in the limelight at such a young age and they didn't even know how big the HP movies were gonna be. By the time POA and GOF came around, they probably were already realizing it that time. I'm just glad that they did all 8 movies because I cannot imagine any of them getting re-cast.
Tom did Anna and the King (1999) with Jodie Foster. It's not a popular movie but he did make it with a huge star. __________________

I know there were some issues around the time HBP came out, I think it had to do with Emma Watson?
Oh, I've heard of Anna and the King but I've never seen it. That is certainly a big role to take on for Tom especially for his first movie! |

It was around the time she got accepted into Brown University, in 2008 or 2009.

Now I can't remember exactly. It either had to do with how much Dan, Rupert, and Emma were being paid or whether or not they would recast Hermione because Emma began to attend Brown University.

Ah issues about re-casting. I wasn't aware of the rumors or if any of the trio decided to not continue on with their characters but obviously they were paid a lot to be able to do all 8 movies. I'm glad it didn't become a problem for the trio though cause 8 movies is a lot and they will be stereotyped for the rest of their lives. I mean up until now they still get asked about HP.

Yeah, I'm glad that issue was worked out in the end! Hopefully, they get enough recognition for other projects and such that they will be seen as individuals rather than the characters they played for a decade.

Especially loved them while they were young. They were so pure and innocent, then the world changed them. But they had each other's backs until the end!
