I didn't watch Origins but I did see Murder in the First (it's a TV show). It was okay. I watched only for Tom. They renewed for another season but I didn't watch anymore.

His character works at Silicon Valley and was accused of murdering his own father. He was arrested for the murder and later hangs himself in his jail cell.
