I'm glad he didn't kill Dumbledore. He's just a kid! I think deep down inside Snape knew he wouldn't do it so he finished 'the job'.

And in the movie, you can see that Draco was conflicted too. He knows that he has to do it but the minute that Dumbledore was right in-front of him, he couldn't do it. He'll be full-fledged villain if he did do it.

Yes, I think both Dumbledore & Snape knew that Draco wouldn't do it and that's why they made a pact that Snape should kill him instead.

Yes. They planned this out beforehand with the probability that if he wasn't killed, Snape has to do it. Can you believe Dumbledore? He died for Harry.
