I like your thoughts, Amy. IA with your thoughts on Hugo, and I see him as the mischievous little kid with that smile that gets him out of trouble a little too often when his grandparents are watching him.

What do you guys think of the Rose/Scorpius pairing?

I haven't really read any fanfics that make me a fan of this pairing. I think it would actually be more interesting if history repeated itself. I don't see Scorpius as very popular kid, mainly because of his family's past. There is probably still a lot of distrust and anger towards the Malfoy family. With Hermione's comment about not turning them against each other before they start school, I could see Rose becoming his friend (Rose would still be a lot more popular than him, and Al is still one of her best friends). I don't see Al becoming best buddies with Malfoy though, more like "Why do your talk to him? Some his other friends are creeps." Scorpius's creepy friends: I figure Hogwarts still has to produce some dark wizards. If not, then what would the Aurors do?

I'll be honest though. I still despise Snape, and his willingness to let James and Harry die so he could have Lily, only increased my hatred of him. I really don't care that he spent Harry's years in school trying to protect him. So, I sort of want Rose and Scorpius's friendship to implode, with some differences, with Harry hearing all about it from Al, who is one of Rose's best friends.

I know the Rose/Scorpius pairing is popular in fandom (like many other ones are) but I don't really see it happening - I can imagine them being friends but lovers when they are older? not so much

but that's just my opinion

I've never thought about it much. One the one hand I could see them together, but on the other, not so much. Imagine Ron's reaction to finding out his daughter was dating Draco Malfoy's son.
