I remember that there was promotion and some interviews of the original cast. I actually know their names. At least the actors who played Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Albus, Scorpius & Rose. With the new cast, I didn't even bother knowing who's who.

It's true that we didn't really know the original cast of CC and now with the new actors it's the same. It's like they don't really care about the rest of the fandom, since the play is sold-out, so there's no need for any kind of promotion.

I think they'll promote the new cast soon, maybe closer to when the original cast will end their run next month. Although I think they'll probably promote the cast for Broadway more next year.

That too. I'm sure some known theater actors will audition. I kinda hope they won't hire anyone famous and give chance to those theater actors who should be given a break.

i didn't know the play would go broadway but i guess it makes sense. i think they'll go for less known actors but also i bet a lot of well known actors would want to be a part of the hp franchise and audition for the parts  |

Btw, I want to know how you all got into the HP fandom. Also, was it the books or the movies that made you realize that you love RHr and when did you realize this? Also, when did you realize that you hardcore ship them? __________________

i started by watching the second film. i liked it and then my older sister told me that there are also 3 more films and it's based on a book series. a friend of her had the books and the rest is history. i fell in love with ron almost immediately and i could see why hermione was so obviously into him even in the earliest books. then i started searching on the internet infos about the new films and i found fanfics, fanarts, etc.
i spent a lot of my teen time about r/hr but i don't regret it. |

We have to thank your older sister then for letting you know about the books.
 The books are soooo good to RHr. You can really feel that they care for each other a lot. But it's also frustrating that they don't seem to realize their feelings towards each other. I always thought Harry knew early on (PoA perhaps?) but obviously wan't in a position to spell it out for them. They both have to realize their feelings. __________________

I don't remember when i discovered the HP fandom but i do remember finding first a blog about the lives of Rupert/Emma/Dan and through that i realised that there are places like HP forums, fanfictions, fanarts, youtube videos and everything else. I found this site around 2010 i think but i started it to follow the Grey's Anatomy and Lost threads, not the HP ones
