Yes, he became a Prefect in Order of the Phoenix if I remember correctly.

Yes it wasn't. I guess they didn't feel the need to mention about them being Prefects anymore in the movie.

Yeah, I agree.. Plus it wasn't match on Ron in the movie when he did lot of reckless w/ Harry unlike Hermonie?? Not sure on how the Prefects duties about..
