Yesssss. GoF is actually pure teen angst.
 The Yule Ball really was something that put RHr's feelings for each other to the test. Ron not asking Hermione right away because he really has feelings for her (and yet he gets jealous of Viktor) was telling.  __________________

Tbh, i was never a fan of R/Hr going together in Yule Ball, because i wanted them to keep working out their feelings for each other and the Ball seemed a cliche kinda way to bring two people together. I was actually glad that JKR in Cursed Child had them go together in that alternatice reality that lead them not to be together in the end because they weren't ready then to aknowledge their feelings. The slow burn of this ship was at time frustrating, but ultimately, important for their relationship to work out.
