I can see Hermione secretly smirking at first seeing it though

I love seeing the HP cast grow up right before our eyes especially the boys because of their voices that got deeper. Ickle!RHr is the best though. They have both been through so much.

They have, the wait for Ron and Hermione to get together was definitely worth it!

I agree it was all worth it. I liked not knowing and not being sure about it. For me I think GoF sealed it for me that RHr were meant to be although I started shipping them in CoS.

Perfect!
I've read 1-4 twice and 5-7 once, the second read of 1-4 was years after the original read and right before reading 5-7. Someone told me R/Hr was going to be canon (I don't think there were any DH spoilers, ie 19 years later, out) but I remained neutral until I would say the 5th book. But I only took more interest in Ron and Hermione (as friends) because Harry pissed me off. But I could see hintings of a romance between them. So, really, it was only waiting two books for me. I began doing a third read of SS a few months back and could see stuff... not hintings of a romance, but there was definitely something between Ron and Hermione! |

My stubborn mind refuse to believe on anything between them in SS. It really wasn't until GoF that I finally told myself that they were going to be endgame because of that "fight" at the Yule Ball but it was CoS that I was fully on-board with them. They both made a big deal out of it in GoF.

Ron's brilliant and intelligent in his own bizarre ways, but he was so stupid when it came to Hermione in GoF!
I have to reread GOF, but the second (and complete) read of it was like six or seven years after the original read. In 2000/1, I had shipped a different coupling and really didn't like Ron. The second read, I loved Ron but couldn't really see anything between him and Hermione yet. |

That kissing art is beautiful
Well, i shipped them since the first time they met. Yeah, I did! That initial dislike they had for each other was so cute and after that for some reason i always anticipated the their moments in the books. I found myself caring more about reading for them than Harry or everything else |

Same here! I was more interested in reading about Ron and Hermione, whether or not it was platonic or romantic. I just found them more likeable as a pair, away from Harry.

After GoF, I was always awaiting for any good RHr moments. HBP was a joy to read RHr-wise. More so DH.
I do have to admit everytime I read I always anticipate any RHr moment that will happen. __________________
