It does makes sense of course.
 I've said this before but I'm gonna say it again. I love that they're not together or didn't end up together because that was how they were 'meant' to be. That is their lovestory. Snape, even if he wasn't fond of Harry, still went out of his way to protect him & died for him and all because of his love for Lily. Selfless.__________________

Oh wow that art is so pretty
 first time I read the book I was sooo upset by this backstory that I just hated James and hated James and Lily together because I shipped these two so much but now after I've thought about it, I love both ships and what they each stand for __________________

I've alreaedy said this but the fact that they didn't end up together is the reason why I love these two. Not all of my ships are endgame, they don't have to be. It's the journey sometimes which makes it amazing.

I agree - I think he would've seen Lily smiling at him, letting him know that he was forgiven. It's losing her friendship that devasted him, then when she died ... it broke him.

It would be interesting to see Snape in that moment, seeing her in the Mirror of Erised. We'll see all these emotions from him that we've never seen before.

 hello, I haven't been properly involved in the Harry Potter fandom for a while but today I just felt like taking a look  I loved Snape/Lily, I'd wanted them to be canon for ages before Deathly Hallows came out, and then there was that beautiful chapter I'll love them forever It was just so tragic and perfect This made me laugh  __________________
