I've never posted on this thread before but I was re-reading Philosopher's Stone today and I was at the part where Harry finds the Mirror of Erised and to not be found by Snape and Filch, he saw a door ajar and went to the room. And then I realised maybe the door was open because Snape was in that room before to see Lily on the mirror, before Filch came to it to say a student was out of bed! And I thought it was beautiful if this was true Of course we will have to ask J.K. Rowling to be sure of that...

It can be true.There must be loads of hints to Snape's feelings towards Lily,who knows how many details we've been missing

I also remembered the fact that once Petunia said that when Lily came back from Hogwarts she hanged out with that other freak.
I think it was in book 3 and at first,of course I thought that the freak was James.After all it wasn't before book 5 that we came to know that Lily and James started dating each other only during their last year.
Yet I didn't link the two things and understood that something wasn't clear in the picture It was only after the amazing chapter I realized who the freak really was.

We'll just have to wait and see. It's so sad when you think about the measures he had to go through to protect Lily's child to another man...considering it wasn't him (and that's why he despised Harry). But he loved Lily enough to protect Harry and that's why I love this ship SO much.

I've always liked Severus from the beginning though his appearance was very confusing. Was he bad or good? I was in a shock when he killed Dumbledore and was on the dark side. I considered him as a traitor. I tried to convince myself that there is something more that it cannot end like this with him. After I've read DH and discovered the reason of his acting I felt really amazed and overwhelmed.
I love Sev&Lily.

I`m so so so afraid of that. Yates has a tendency to misrepresent the characters. I truly hope Snape and Lily`s love story is both beautiful and poignant. I want to have a lump in my throat, FEEL the tragedy. Alan Rickman would never disappoint me, but I cant say the same for Yates.
