And considering I'm from Hufflepuff, he probably won't show mercy at me and would always deduct points from my House everytime I can't answer a question at Potions class.

He did but I don't think a professor should do that. Snape was just being very scary and patronizing. I remember he took 50 points off Gryffindor in POA.

I'm getting the feeling that professors are allowed free reign to award and deduct house points as they see fit. But Snape was a bit hard there, imo. It wasn't like Hermione was being rude.

Other professors might have been fair. I mean I don't think McGonagall would do something like that.
