Well, they were working for the Order full time. I'm guessing Harry was a "surprise", but they did want kids after the war was over.

And even if he was a surprise, it sounded like he was a good surprise.

Aww yes, i think so too.
James was playing with Harry and making bubbles coming out of his wand the night Voldemort killed them.

I hope all of those scenes appear in the next movies.

That chapter in DH absolutely killed me, when Harry was in Voldemort's head seeing how everything played out that night his parents were killed.

I know. Harry would have had a much happier childhood if Snape and Pettigrew had kept their mouths shut.

And I'd think, if Snape loved Lily so much, he wouldn't have reported anything to Voldemort in the first place because then her safety would've never been in jeopardy at all. Especially when knowing the kind of evil lord Voldemort was, it was rather obvious he would kill anyone who stands between him and Harry and not think twice about it.

I just remember that part of Lily's letter to Sirius, no matter the circumstances, she sounded so happy with James and Harry.

^ I totally agree, that's why i hate Snape so much. Excuse me, but how can someone call what he felt for Lily love?

And aww, Lily's letter.
Considering everything they were passing, they sounded like a happy family indeed.
I love how James wasn't feeling good about being closed in home all day, but he was trying to cover it up for Lily. But she could saw right through him, so she asked Sirius to go visit them. They are amazing

I'm not going to say Snape never loved Lily, but he clearly didn't love her enough to try to understand why she was so hurt over Petunia. He clearly didn't think her parents were worth any concern either, based on his comments about muggles.

James and Lily were obviously very much in love and happy together.

Yea, there's tons of things he never understood.

And they were.
So sad they died, they would be a really happy family.
Do you think they would have more kids?

I'm really loving the conversations you guys are having.

I don't like Snape at all. enough said.

I agree I think James and Lily would of had more kids. I think they would have had a big family.

I think what was so sad about what more we found out about the killings of James and Lily was that they weren't unsure really at all about their safety. They completely trusted the "rat" as a friend. They weren't really prepared for anything to happen. The whole thing was just heartbreaking.

On a happier note. I loved that little moment we had between James and Harry with the puffs of smoke and the picture of James (his feet at least) chasing Harry on his broom in the back yard.

Yea. James trusted fully his friends, it's so sad it turned out against him and his family.

Aww, the scene where James was chasing Harry was so adorable!
He totally could care less about Harry destroying the whole house, as long as he knew how to fly. LOL

I love your icon, btw.
It could be either H/G or J/L. lol

Yep, I don't think James would mind either. He would of made Harry an even bigger fan of the sport than he already is.

I knew some might get that mixed up because it looks really close to James/Lily or Harry/Ginny, but it's not them. It Wayne Rigsby and Grace Vane Pelt from "The Mentalist." It's a television show. If I hadn't known I would think it was one of them too.

Tara, I've seen the show but I'm not familiar with the characters names. I'll have to pay attention next time and really study the comparison. Sounds cute!
