She's got a very interesting story indeed. I'll post the bits here:

Why would her own daughter be jealous of her intelligence? Perhaps she was an only child and really idolized Rowena so Helena looked up to her mom a lot and was her role model so that probably instigated the jealousy?

I was just wondering how a daughter can be jealous of her own mother? I think it may be because her mom has become her role model so she looked up to Rowena a lot.
