While I do understand that No Maj should not remember any of what they saw and that it was necessary to obliviate their memories, it was harder to watch Jacob forget everything because he already struck a friendship with Newt and have grown fond of Queenie.

And what was also hard to watch in that scene is that neither of them wanted to do it but they have to.
That's why I'm so curious as to how Jacob will remember everything in part 2.  __________________

Well he does remember subconsciously doesn't he? He made all his pastries in the shape of the creatures he'd met. Maybe the kiss did something?

he has some memory deep down in his subconscious.. thats how he made those donuts. but i dont think he knows why he is making them. i guess that will come later.

He's probably wondering how he got so inspired with the designs. And then Queenie shows up. It's vague in the movie but I wonder if he'll remember her right away or he won't (yet)? __________________

SQUEEE, I like that. I do prefer him slowly remembering and Queenie helping him to remember rather than having a reverse spell to instantly make him remember right away.
