Btw, in your country the book is released as Sorcerer's Stone right? Cause over here it's the same. I know they released it Philosopher's Stone in the UK.

Same here.. Even tho I remember I was reading while I was eating the food or go to bed to read it..

Yeah, that's right.. I never know that other have it as Philosopher's Stone.. But it made me wondering that are all the version the same or what??

It's the same but Jo changed it to Sorcerer's Stone in the U.S. because she thought American children wouldn't want to read a book about a Sorcerer.

We usually follow the U.S. release dates for the movies but books here are released with the U.K. cover (which I prefer).

Yes they're lovely! All my books are the U.K. covers. I'm not sure why they're released with that cover as usually we follow U.S. covers here.

I think it depends on the country. I don't think we get the books here with our local language. All the HP books are in English here.

Yes they do. I know some countries also use their own language for the HP movies (dubbed). I'm glad we don't get that here. Not because I'm not proud of our language. It's just that if it's translated, the meaning is lost and it's always better to hear the original voices rather than dubbed voices.

Yeah, that's true.. I remember that my father watch it in Spanish, but some word got lost in translate, so my mother explained it to him..

We're so westernized here. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Though an advantage is I feel confident speaking in English.

I'm due a re-read of this book soon because it's been a while for me. I should really set a goal already to read all the books again.

Maybe it could be both good and bad?? And that's good that you feel confident speaking in English since not everyone felt like that way..
