He's wonderful. A character that had a really good development from all the books. He was an easy target from the likes of Malfoy, etc from Slytherin but he never lost the confidence inspite of that.

I was never a big Neville fan to be honest, I guess the Bellatrix fangirl in me took over when reading his scenes

My favorite Black sister is Narcissa (I have a soft spot for the Malfoys except for Lucius). I really like Neville from the start and was so glad for the good character development throughout the books.

There are so many, I thought every chapter was unexpected since it was the beginning of the journey and everything was new
But obviously the Quirrell revelation comes to mind.__________________

Mine is definitely the Quirrell moment too and that Voldemort 'lives' within him. I thought back then it was already dark for a children's book.

I know what you mean. I do have a soft spot for this book since it's the first of the series and everything was new.
 I am going to start on my re-read soon (of all the books). I can't wait! __________________
