*Pops head in* I am planning a re-read of the books, ending in me actually finishing the 7th book which I had some problems with at the time but am gonna give a second crack too.

You know, even after all this time, I STILL get a huge dorktastic grin on my face whenever I read the first line of this book. "The Dursleys, of Number Four Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much." It always brings back that feeling I had when I started reading the series for the first time.

^ Hehe.

You know way back when, after the release of HBP, I read a theory that since the first chapter of the first book was essentially "A Day in the Life of the Dursleys", that the last pages of the last book would be "A Day in the Life of the Potters." (This was assuming of course that Harry lived.) Aaaand, what do you know?! I always get warm feelings thinking about that, and I'd gladly like to sex the person who initially thought of that. EEK. Oh Harry.

I remember that theory. It was very clever and, as it turns out, quite apropos.

I'm bumping this up because I'm gearing up for an epic re-read in order to celebrate the opening of Pottermore and wanted to see if anyone wants to join in

I'm in the process of re-reading! Can't let it go. I'm from the US and I bought the Bloomsbury edition off of Amazon, so reading the changes between the two is really interesting. Just small things.
