Yeah I was also thinking that. He was at Hogwarts along with the Marauders and surely knows that Remus turns into a wolf. As for seeing him, he's not friends with the Marauders so yeah I think he hasn't seen Remus as a wolf during his Hogwarts days.

Plus I remember in the book, he did saw him as wolf and he try to prove it, but nobody believe it..

I also think Snape was purposely trying to maybe let Dumbledore know that he knew about Remus being a werewolf by teaching his class about wolves.

The fact that Snape was there at the Whomping Willow in time for when Remus transformed into a werewolf also further solidifies his knowledge that he is aware of Remus' "condition".

And you are right because in the movie it looked like he just appeared there out of nowhere but he already knew about Remus so Snape followed them there.

Do you remember what scene this is from the movie? Is this Remus' office? All those skulls in the cabinet...

I would be shock if that was Remus' office bec of the skulls.. But I don't remember unless if it was the one, Professor who teach you about the future..
