Amazingly I wasn't around when the old Pottermore site was happening... I was around this board and many other HP forums but weirdly, I never checked out Pottermore until after the site had changed.
Why did they change things up on Pottermore? Anyone know? |

^ I'm not really sure. They didn't say why they changed it but I reckon the old site was harder (and expensive) to maintain. Because right now the site is more for reading. The old site was more interactive. You can make potions, duel, look for coins, cards, etc. And the graphics were impressive. There's a House Cup as well and you can see which house was winning.

Yeah, they could've told us in advance but they changed it anyway. I can't recall but I think the site was down for a few weeks and then when it came back on, the site already changed.
I'll double check but I remember getting really irked that they changed the site.  __________________

Oh yeah they could've done that but maybe they feel like with just a site that's meant for reading, it would be less costly and not so much maintenance to do?
