I kind of agree.

I loved the Sirius/Remus stuff to be sure. The mystery and how things beautifully came together I loved, too. But I would rank this kind of lower compared to the other ones if I did a complete ranking. I can't really explain it. I still adored the book, though. It's just compared to the others I would put this a tad lower than the rest. I am doing a poor job of explaining why so I'll stop, lol.

I guess I loved it because of Sirius/Remus and that Harry was reunited with someone very close to his father. My least favorite was OotP mostly because of Sirius' death. HBP I also didn't like because of Dumbledore's death but the reveal of the Half-Blood Prince was spectacular. I didn't think it would be Snape. But that's altogether a discussion for a different thread.

I think it is my favorite book because we learn more about Harry's father and we see the debut of Remus, Pettigrew, and Sirius and who really betrayed James/Lily. Time traveling is my other favorite aspect of the book/movie. Also, Hermione punching Draco helps a lot with me liking the book/movie. Also, I think this book/movie made me ship Hermione/Draco for the first time.

I need to reread this book so I can tell you more reasons why I love this book and movie.

I like your reasons. I mainly liked this book because of Sirius. I thought for a while he was just as bad as Peter and that Remus was out to get him. Turns out he was trying to rescue his friend.

When I first read this book, I didn't like Sirius at all. (I was a big Severus fan; I still like Snape but my views changed of him.). Also, I have become a huge Sirius fan now.

I really need to reread this book.

I became a Sirius fan because of this book. Tbh, Snape wasn't my favorite at first. I thought he was shady. But somewhere along the way (I can't remember which book but it was an early book), I've grown to like him. So by the time HBP came out, I was dumbstruck about him killing Dumbledore.

Same here.. I always not so sure about Sirius bec I tho that he working for Snape or something.. But until I read the book about him and Harry.. I start to like him and hoping to see happy for them, but nope..
