He fought beside Fred and jokingly made a resignation for Minister for Magic Pius Thicknesse (whom he turned into a sea urchin). Fred, overjoyed by Percy's joking, died in a explosion. He didn't want to leave Fred's body and protected it before they put it safe. After that Percy ran after Rookwood who was believed to have caused the explosion. Percy survived the battle and years later became a highly-ranking official under Ministry for Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt. I hoipe he doesn't die in the seventh book. I think a Weasley will die. I hope it's not the twins but they've made themselves targets just as Fabian & Gideon did.

Yeah, true. But somehow I think it's one of the oldest ones, 'cause you "can't" kill someone like Ron or Ginny, who are important to Harry... or something. Heck, the whole Weasley family is important for Harry, except at the moment Percy seems to be left out of the "Weasley family" meaning.
