Honestly, we have all have a friend like that even tho a friend of mine hate it when we always left her out of it, but I felt like a person doesn't want to feel lonely or something.. Which that understandable..

You're right about that. But also if he's being isolated, then that's not good. Also, maybe they're just boys, but Sirius, James & Remus could have noticed Peter and also tried to include him more in their shenanigans? I totally understand the feeling of not being alone and having a group of friends but if they ignore you anyway, it's still very sad.

That's because of his insecurities and jealousy. I think he felt he never really belonged to the group and ratting them out will help him feel good about himself.
