But yeah, Terminator Salvation was really disappointing. Among other things, I felt let down that the Kate Brewster-Connor character was so bland. She was awesome in Rise of the Machines, but in this one she was just kind of meh. Granted, she was 7 months pregnant, so it's not like they could have her do a lot of butt-kicking, but still. Disappointing.

Her character is pregnant?! Wow, that has to be worst time to have that happen.
I'm not too suprised the film wasn't that great. The director McG did the Charlie's Angels film. It's entertaining but not a great film.

Yup, it was Sam. Yeah, his American accent was kinda off but his acting is good. At least to me

I agree with Kate Connor's character...very disappointing. Hopefully she'll get her kickass spirit back in the next installment.

At first, I thought it was Arnold Schwarzenegger during the confrontation scene with John Connor!

I got Baz Luhrman's Australia from the library. I haven't seen it yet but Hugh Jackman looks good in a tux so I'm happy. I also watched the first two episodes of series six of MI-5/Spooks and I've got to say, Ros Myers, is probably my most favorite female spy ever. Her ass is so bad I think Jack Bauer is afraid of her.

I also started a new book, Jude Morgan's An Accomplished Woman. It appears to be Austenesque and is thankfully not a continuation of any of her novels. I haven't gotten too far but it looks very promising.

LMAO, Australia is not the best film out there. I just watched in back in March I think. But Hugh Jackman is great eye candy in it LOL. I haven't seen Terminator yet but I do think I am going to get around to it soon.

I am now done for the semester. Just handed my stuff in for one course and only had one exam

For the next month I have nothing to do so I'm going to be on here alot LOL. Even for the next two weeks pretty much everyone I know still has exams and stuff. So I have a book to finish reading, a few movies to watch I guess and my friend just gave me season 1 of Veronica Mars and Arrested Development.

I've heard great things about An Accomplished Woman. It's actually on rather long list already, let me know how you like it.

I agree. Christian Bale didn't have any range in the movie. I was worried about Anton Yelchin, because I thought they were going to make his character a comic relief. But he wasn't, except for a couple of scenes. I can't judge Sam Worthington's accent, since I don't know anything about accents.

If there is a sequel, I really hope there will be more development about the fact that Kyle Reese is John Connor's father. That's a screwed up situation, and I was really looking forward to see what they did about it but it was never really adressed in the movie. Kyle Reese could have been a random person.

It was a somewhat somber day at work today. My boss's mother died. She had been battling stomach cancer for a few years and lost her battle early this morning.
