That's true. Why be a professor/teacher if you hate kids right? Teachers have so much patience though. Younger kids are all hyper and rowdy while older kids have a short attention span and are more lazy now to study. Then high school is also another problematic stage. So I admire teachers a lot.

Yeah, exactly.. Also, I hate how some parents think that teachers are babysitters even tho I remember during the lockdown, they want the school open, so the kids can go back to them.. I was like..

I can only speak for my mom who oversees my nephew's online school and the reason she wants schools to re-open here is because she doesn't know how to teach some of the lessons to her grandson. Plus my nephew gets bored easily and because he's at home, he isn't able to concentrate so much and gets distracted unlike when he's at school, with teachers around, they can keep him at bay.

Oh yeah, same here.. Even tho my mom couldn't handle w/ my nephew when it comes to school which thats why she wanted me to do it w/ him plus I always made sure that he had his schoolwork done before I started working.. Plus his parents and my mom wondered how I get him to do work on time and finished earlier.. I was like it was easy, but I ain't tell ya the secret..

Oh gosh, I tip my hat off to you. I don't and can't supervise my nephew's online classes because I'm sure my mom and sister would blame me if I teach him something wrong. I'll let the mothers do it and parent him.

Believe me, I've had numerous arguments with them on how to handle my nephew and I just mostly stay out of it when it's about parenting because I'm not the parent or the mother. I'm just the babysitter so to speak.

Ahh, even tho my parents always ask me to do something to get him to stick w/ homework, so I told them to reward them after as long my nephew needed to be done w/ his schoolwork..

That's good. Kids always like to be praised and rewarded for their good work because they don't like going to school and would rather play. At least that's the case with my nephew.
