That's true but what I didn't like about Petunia is that even if Lily is already dead, she still harbored those jealous feelings and extended her hate of her sister through her nephew.

I dont understand it either.
Harry was emotionally abused by his aunt and uncle. He lived in a hole basically for many years. He was a slave, and they never even gave him a break on his very own birthday. Disgusting. It’s amazing Harry turned out as good as he did. This is also one of many reasons why I’m so glad he ended up marrying a Weasley. Ron was already his brother but I just love that he married Ginny and had a true family. |

The Dursleys treated him like crap. Harry can't even do magic outside of Hogwarts and he has to live with them because they are his legal guardian as he's related to them. I can't remember the canon stuff that happened with Harry & the Dursleys but did he mend fences with Dudley (at least)? I don't know how to feel about that, tbh. But Harry is a loving & forgiving person so I expected him to forgive his family for what they did.

I forgot what happened to the relationship with Harry & Vernon/Petunia but I vaguely remember that Harry & Dudley were able to mend fences post-Hogwarts.
