I'm a patient person in real life. It takes a lot to rile me up. That's why I was sorted at Hufflepuff and can relate so much to Newt's attitude towards life.

Yes it was.
 His primary purpose is to free the Thunderbird but he got caught up with the whole MACUSA business, no thanks to the Niffler.  __________________

Yeah he wouldn't go inside the bank if it wasn't for the Niffler. He wouldn't meet Jacob too. Although Tina was already kind of eyeing him and curious about his suitcase.

What do you mean why he brought it with him? His purpose as to why he's in NYC is return the Thunderbird to it's natural habitat in Arizona. But after the events that happened in New York, he let him free there instead so the no-maj will forget what happened.
