Too bad we'll never find out. I don't like that they introduced Leta and then killed her off by the end of the movie. They did give her a great backstory and present SL but they could've expounded on that more plus explain if she's related to the Lestranges (Bellatrix's husband).

As long as the flashbacks have something to do with the present SL then I'm all for it. As it is, Leta's story is devastating but apart from being Theseus's fiance and Newt's friend, she only became a victim because of her inner turmoil which she didn't even tell anyone (even Theseus) that eventually ate away her guilt and she sacrificed herself. I was hoping for a Lestrange connection actually.

I like that they're both from different houses and are good friends. Hufflepuff & Slytherin doesn't seem to be two houses that get along based on their personalities.
