Also, why Newt took the blame for Leta which led to his expulsion from Hogwarts. What was Leta doing that was supposed to lead to her expulsion?

I think a lot of the fans got it right about the speculations that it was Newt taking the fall for Leta. Graves said that Dumbledore was fond of Newt so why would he expel him?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprise but I think that nobody would believe him, so he would still expel him bec they have to talk w/ others?

It also depends on what exactly did Leta do. But obviously Newt loves her enough to take the fall for her.
