Arthur with his fondness for Muggles, and Molly for fussing over her children.... parents of the Weasley kids we all (or most of us) love so much. Are they not adorable?

Harry&Lupin talked there and Lupin only said that Lily was there for him when everyone else wasn't...I didn't remember him saying straight he was in love with Lily....but...it seemed a little obvious.

Are you honestly telling me that you're the only memeber of the Harry Potter fandom who didn't notice that?

I mean, that was practically what everyone in the Fandom was talking about when PoA was released. And when JKR let the bomb dropped that movie!PoA foreshadowed things that would be divulged in books 6 & &, a lot of the HP theorists were saying that that could be one of those things, that Remus was actually in love with Lily but in the end, it was James who won her heart.

Actually I believe that now that the long standing fandom debate:
Blaise Zabini: male or female... or both?

has been answered (Blaise is male! I was right

), I think this is now one of the theories that is in the running of becoming the "Fandom favorite"

Although Julie Walters doesn't really look like book!Molly, the way that she plays her embodies my idea of mothering!Molly so much, that it just didn't matter

You know, when I dragged my "non-HP fan" friends to see PoA, all of them was like: "Omigod! Harry's teacher was in love with his mother!"

I mean, I myself was surprised when I was watching that Harry/Lupin bridge scene. I can't help but chuckle at just how all the Remus/Lily/James theorists are going to go mental when they see that.

But what trully convinced me that the HP Fandom wasn't just imagining all the Remus/Lily love vibe was my mother. You see she's one of those "older people" who just doesn't care about Harry Potter... but she tagged along when I took my little cousins to see PoA, and well, saying that she was a bit befuddled by the plot is an understatement.

So I tried to explain who Sirius was, who Peter was, the Marauders, how Sirius was wrongfully accused, how Peter betrayed the Potters...

And then she goes: "But why did they choose that Peter fellow instead of Remus?"

And I said "Well, it's anyone's guess, really. Sirius was the one who convinced them to change secret keepers... a popular theory is that because Remus is a werewolf, so Voldemort might have some sort of control over him, another thinks it's because Peter is the "weak one" and thus would never be thought of as the secret keeper, or maybe it was actually Peter who actually suggested to Sirius to pick him... I really don't know... maybe Sirius just thinks Remus was the 'spy' ..."

And she goes: "Or maybe it's because Sirius and James know that Remus was in love with Lily, so they think he might want some revenge for stealing the girl away from him"

I mean, honestly! I just would never expect my mom to be an HP theorist/shipper

I'm so happy someone made this thread. I was just thinking out these two the other day and why they didn't have a thread of their own.

Molly and Arthur are the cutest married couple. I love them both.
